The purpose of this guide is to provide the CACFP community with key considerations when creating protocols regarding offsite reviews. On August 4, 2020, the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Food Nutrition Services (FNS), issued a nationwide waiver regarding monitoring of the CACFP. 
 
The CCFP Roundtable convened an expert group of CACFP sponsors and monitors who are in the field (and now at their computers) to discuss considerations for remote monitoring and provide some items to consider as sponsors establish protocols and policy around remote reviews.
