Thoughts about Serious Deficiency in CACFP? Join us on March 27th for an important conversation to guide public comment to USDA

Updated: Mar 17

Deliberative Forum #2: Serious Deficiency in the CACFP

Date: March 27, 2024 (member meeting open to all)

Time: 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. PST

It's time for us to come together as a community to talk about what might make the serious deficiency process better for you and your community. CACFP Roundtable knows we can't make a good and effective public comment without discussing with you all.

Join us for our second CACFP Deliberative Forum: Serious Deficiency to think about together the process as it is now, what would make it better, and how the proposed rule may or may not address your ideas. Share your experiences and let's deliberate the S.D. process!

Why are we using this format?

We are using this format to 1) understand the different experiences of the operators , and 2) think about together, as a representative community, what a proper accountability process can look like for the future of CACFP! We encourage all components of CACFP, all perspectives, and all levels of experience to participate in this discussion. CACFP policy impacts all of us and your voice matters. Have a seat at the table!

Submit your presentation proposal now! Closes on March 31. Learn more here.
